July 23, 2018: Well had another wonderful week!! We were able to keep so busy which was so nice!! We got to go to the primary party because they wanted us to help out at a members house and it was a blast!! I um got a little wet as one of the bishopric members decided to dump a huge bucket of water on me wearing my shirt and tie hahah good times! I legit was drenched head to toe. Also got fed everyday this week so that was a big plus ahah. The weather has been cooling down to like 30 so thats good...if you call that cooling down. We had rain for the first time in a couple weeks which the farmers really need out here. But its been really good out here. I was just telling my mom that I am so blessed to be here as it is really making me understand the importance of being obedient. I said to her "  This week we had two days where we were packed every minute. Like we didn't have anytime to find because we were teaching!!! It was so awesome to have that happened twice this week. July 16, 2018  Another day another dawn. It was a pretty good week this week. We had another crazy hot week. But it was good. We were able to stay inside more as we were teaching and had zone conference on Wednesday. It was a really fun and spiritual conference. A lot was reflecting and reminding us why we are here. Another big focus was the Book or Mormon and how we need to utilize this powerful tool, as it is another testament of Jesus Christ. I love being able to see how the Bible and Book or Mormon go so hand in hand. A great example is in Matthew 3 when it is talking about Jesus Christ being baptized. It says in verse "15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.". It would be amazing to know how we can fulfill all righteousness wouldn't it? Well it actually does in the Book if Mormon in 2 Nephi 31:5-9 it reads "5 And now, if the Lamb of God, he being holy, should have ne

It was a good week! Got lots done and we were able to visit a lot of people who needed our help with service and we got to teach some of them. I'm pretty excited because today we get to go golfing for Pday! A member is taking us out and so it should be a lot of fun! Still been like 40 degrees Celsius and so that's been exciting and an adventure. We got to do lots of finding and knocking on doors and talking to people on the street. It's always exciting and a fun experience to be able to do that everyday for a couple hours. We were able to see some awesome Miracles this week. One being we ran into a member who was baptized when she was 14. Now she is 30 years old and has 5 kids and hasn't been to church for around 15 years. The area we are in has a lot sketchy people and has a lot of homeless people. As well as into a lot of different types of drugs and so she is worried about her kids falling into that lifestyle. She wants to have them come to church and be baptized

July 3/18: Note from the Mom: Sometimes Lance puts on a brave face and writes to everyone saying all the positive things in his week, which is a great quality, but I also know he is writing these blogposts as a journal and memories of his mission so I wanted to include another note he sent to me beforehand. I asked him if I could include it too, to show it isn't all rosy and great ALL the time. He is trying so hard to do what is right and be positive.  This was a hard week to be honest. We didn't get to teach one lesson as they either bombed us and weren't there or wouldn't meet. All five of those investigators we found last week have either already dropped us or they don't want to meet. So we had hours of finding this week which was kinda hard in the 40 degree weather. I'm so happy that you had a great spiritual experience mom at Moroni's Quest. It is very true what you said at the end: when you have something good you want to keep it. I feel this happ
