My first week in St Thomas, Ontario (Very heartwarming says the Momma!)

St. Thomas is the littlest most amazing place. My new companion is so kind and humble. I am learning so much for him!!! His English is very good for only being here for a couple months!! I hope I can help him out this transfer with it though. He is from Hong Kong. We had a crazy sweet week as we started off the week with zero investigators- this area wasn't going too great but I know that Heavenly Father blesses us as we work hard and are obedient. Sometimes not always how we want, but this week I truly saw my Hather in Heaven's hand and we found 5 new people to teach because we put ourselves in places to do so. I can't explain how thankful I am as I was extremely worried coming into this area with no investigators. It makes me really appreciate how much my Father in Heaven desires us to find those willing and ready to hear the truth. I came in here excited but also kinda said as I was leaving the big city and an area I loved but this scripture really stood out to me and I

June 18, 2018 Last week in Waterloo

Hey everyone!!! Hope all is going good with all ya people out west. I miss seeing the mountains so next time you look out and see them be more greatful hahahaha. So it was 34°C yesterday and felt like 42°C with the humidity...that was good haha. This man yesterday was walking with us talking and he was pretending he was famous and we were his bodyguards. It was actually pretty funny becuase he had his shirt off and it was over his face and I think some people legit thought he was famous 🤣🤣. I guess wearing a suit walking home from church in 34°C weather isn't normal...hahahaha. For real though this week was amazing!! We were able to schedule a man to get baptized next month and we found another 3 investigators through a pretty cool experience. The one that has a date for baptism next week has been here for about 6 months now going to Waterloo university. He is from Ghana and we met him on the street downtown. We were able to talk to him for a second and we kept on going.

June 11, 2018 . Another miracle-found a family to teach!

Sunny days out here in Waterloo. Been able to get a nice tan...on half my arms and my face hahaha. Legs are um ..alittle whiter then flour 🤣. It's a rough go having to wear paints when it's 30 plus 🤣 . But been a good time. Well this week we had some cool experiences and was very eventful to say the least. First really cool experience was we were walking around talking to people just trying to find some people that would be down to listen to us. As we met this one lady we found out she was from Barbados and had only been here for a couple of months. She was on her way to get some groceries and so she had a second to talk. We started talking her about what we do as missionaries and started to get to know her. She ended up giving us her address and she said 'go right now, my son is there and you can teach him'. So we said we would talk to her later and go stop by to see her son. We knocked on the door and the sweetest guy came! He was super jacked and just like a really

June 4, 2018  Another one gone by. Well another quick week! I can't believe it's already June! This transfer has been going by pretty fast I'm not going to lie. I'm already in week 5 with my comp I feel like he just came!  It's a good thing though for sure. Means we are staying busy I guess. Some days feel like forever but then I look back a couple weeks later thinking it was yesterday ahha. I truly see so many miracles everyday, some days we start off with nothing on our schedule but to find new people to teach and we almost always end up having something come up or being able to teach a lesson. It's is a big blessing as it makes time go by so much faster!! I love serving and I know it's exactly what I'm supposed to be doing but it's always good to have lots to do to make the time fly haha  . I had the opportunity to study up on miracles and came across some amazing ones in the scriptures and had some in my life this past week. I found this in

May 28, 2018 Hot weather+wearing PANTS=mixed emotions

May 28, 2018 I want to say that hot weather is amazing and rough at the same time! Wearing pants in plus 35°C and walking 22km on Friday was mixed emotions haha. So we ran out of Km on our car till the end of the month so we have to walk the rest of the month which can be kinda hard and long when you got an appointment 10 plus km away haha. Good times though, my comp and I are getting to talk to a lot of people and talk a lot about how we can better the work here in Waterloo!!! But it's going well. We still got our investigator on date for baptism on Saturday. Depending on a couple things we could move it back again but all is good!!! We have been contacting a lot (going up to people in downtown and on the street and talking to them)!!! It really is crazy some things people say, think, act and do to us 🤣. Some good stories for when I'm home. It's crazy how many people love us and how many people hate us haha. One person you run into will say how amazing the work we are do
