Well I guess this is it....what the. I feel like this has been my whole life and it will be a weird change to not send one of these out each Monday. Honestly do enjoy writing these as I feel I get to express my real feelings and thoughts about events that have been life altering for me and my future. The experiences that I have shared on my Blogs are of the utmost importance to me as I feel the power behind what comes from what I am doing at this time in my life. This week someone shared something with me that I feel is what I have experienced in a minuscule amount but have truly loved and desire to keep applying in my life. "Dare to do right! Dare to be true! You have a work that no other can do; Do it so bravely, so kindly, so well, Angels will hasten the story to tell. Dare, dare, dare to do right; Dare, dare, dare to be true, Dare to be true, dare to be true. Dare to do right! Dare to be true! Other men’s failures can never save you. Stand by your conscience, your honor, your

Oct 21:.Two weeks left! My mission has been very special and meaningful to me...

Well it was an exciting week with a tone of ups and downs! Had a super amazing last zone conference and it was very special to have an opportunity to bear my testimony one last time to everyone! Super crazy honestly. My mission has been very special and meaningful to me so it was a very bitter sweet moment. I had the great opportunity to be able to Skype one of the families I found in Sudbury that was baptized this past Saturday and talk to them for a little. It is amazing how much the gospel can impact individuals and families. They all had a new light and demeanor or about them that was extraordinary. I know this is only found through following Jesus Christ and His example can this new light and demeanor be found. Also was able to have a great surprise just yesterday as I went to one of the people I found on the bus just last transfers baptism. I was just planning on being there but they wanted to surprise me and asked me if I could confirm him in sacrament meeting! That is always a

Oct 12-This was a miraculous week filled with some amazing experiences and extraordinary events.

This was a miraculous week filled with some amazing experiences and extraordinary events. To start off the week we put a girl on date for baptism that we found 2 weeks ago. She is originally from South Africa and has had some very spiritual experiences in her life. One of which she said she had a dream of a bright light coming down but she was unsure what it was. This was actually extremely key to her conversion as she was able to resonate with Joseph Smith experience very well when he was able to see a bright light and see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. Instantly she expressed her belief in Joseph Smith. Following we read a passage from the Book of Mormon and said that feeling was reconfirmed. As we met with her each day at the church after her work this past week we had countless experiences that were very special. We were meeting with her after church on Sunday and she was able to express that she knew this was true and knew this is where she needed to be. We deci

Still out here in the beautiful city of Toronto. I have really grown to love this city an extreme amount, to the point I would move here if it had mountains. Honestly it is such a unique atmosphere and place. It is extremely worldly though in the sense of clothing, cars and houses  . I had some super cool experience this week that I am super grateful for. One was being able to get two of the people we found in the past week to general conference, which was so powerful by the way. I feel on your mission you get so much more out of general conference as you are extremely focused and attentive as you are striving to recieve revelation not only for yourself but those you are working with. This keeps you very laser focused as you are really trying to get all you can as you listen to each talk. I was able to have my departing interview with my mission president which was extremely special. It brought a lot of new light and understanding to my mission and the furture. Then to have general co

Hey everyone, this week was another grinding week finding wise ahah. This week consisted of talking to people 4 hours plus a day  . We came in and there wasn't one person being taught. We ended up being able to get 20+ numbers and 5 or 6 appointments, this message is sure powerful as we saw a tone of miracles finding. I can share a couple of the miracles that happened because we were follow the spirit...I guarantee it. So one that was super cool happened on Thursday. We were just walking around University of Toronto and we had been there for about an hour and a half. We were starting to want to sit down for a second so we decided we would do Companionship study (where we talking about what we studied) as we hadn't gotten a chance to do it yet. We remember there was a couple benches about a 10min walk back...which we decided to walk towards even though there was a lot of seating around us. We were about to sit down to do comp study and we saw this girl that we felt we sho

Sept 23-Surprise..transfer calls..will now be in the Toronto YSA ward and training a brand new missionary for my last transfer.

Surprise, we got transfer calls! I'll be leaving and heading to the heart of downtown Toronto. I will now be in the Toronto YSA ward and training a brand new missionary for my last transfer. Super hyped I am staying in the city and probably going to my dream area to end ahh....well this past transfer was pretty close to my dream area as well haha. It was another extremely bumping week. We were able to find 5 new, have 3 at church and three on date for baptism!! It is for sure bitter sweet but I know God has some crazy amazing things in store for Toronto YSA and us. This past week was sweet as my companion and I legit felt like celebrities  . We honestly had five or six people either come up to us or over hear us talking to someone else and want to hear more about the powerful message of the Restored Gospel. This truly shows me the power that comes from the message we have a great priviledge to share...let me emphasize it's not us it is the message we share! It is becau

Sept 18.....but the Lords work is still on fire haha!..Sweet experience finding this guy...

Image
Well the city is starting to get a little cooler weather wise...but the Lords work is still on fire haha. This week was another exemplary week for us. We were able to put another guy on date for baptism. He legit is so cool and has a sweet story behind him. So about two weeks ago we were on a bus that was so packed you could barely move lol (happens everyday during rush hours). Anyway we ended up some how right next to each other and got talking as per usual as we are always trying to talk with people. Anyway we ended up getting on the topic of the Book of Mormon as he hadn't ever heard of it but had been Christian in the past. We were heading to another teaching appointment so unfortunately we had to hop off before we got his number. But I managed to hand him a card with our number on it and told him to text us...which more often then not doesn't happen (like my whole mission I think I have had max 15 people text or call us from just giving them our number). We were sup

Sept 12-I constantly am in awe and thanksgiving because of all our Father in Heaven is providing for us here in Toronto.

Well for sure having a set of YSA missionaries in this area of Toronto was inspired haha. Were able to put two more people on date for baptism this week! Both have Jamaican background and are all around really sweet guys. As of right now we have two getting baptized October 13 and then one October 20th. I constantly am in awe and thanksgiving because of all our Father in Heaven is providing for us here in Toronto. Being on busses everyday for sure provide a tone of cool experience as we are always talking to people. Something that has now happened multiple times is members from other countries that have just moved here coming up to us and asking for the church info as they haven't been able to figure it out. As well as members that haven't been to church for a while. This is super cool as I have seen the importance of always being out in a place where God can use you as an instrument in His hand. I know many times God uses us as individuals to show His love for us. We

Sept 3-...I know I don't capture even close to all that goes on in our weeks but I want to let everyone know it is amazing haha..

Another sweet week out here!!! So much is happening its incredible. I know I don't capture even close to all that goes on in our weeks but I want to let everyone know it is amazing haha. The girl we have on date for baptism is still progressing super well and has been able to give up some things in here life that were holding her back a little. She also has been coming out to all the activities put on as well as church. We had two of the people we are working with at church and should be 3 next week. As well as we should have another guy on date for baptism next week. God has blessed us an extreme amount in the short time we have been here. Also was able to start teaching a Korean guy! He's about 23 years old and his English is extremely limited. He has came to church twice now. We felt it would be extremely helpful to have a missionary in our mission that speaks Korean video call in and check his understanding about what we have shared so far. We ended up talking to the Korean

Aug 26-When we work, miracles proceed..

When we work, miracles proceed. It's been a crazy adventure these past two weeks as we started off with no one to work with. Opening an area is for sure a new experience that I'm thankful to continue to be part of. Legit haven't had to go this hard and as consistently as we have in a while. But new challenges bring excitement and more to look forward to. I feel this week was a week to look back on and be extremely grateful for. We were able to get two of the people we have found on the street to church and one more committed for baptism on September 22! We found her just walking down the street Saturday night and met with her last night. She is 26 years old and just got to Canada a couple months ago. It's been amazing to see how so many people have a strong relationship with Christ in this area of Toronto. The other girl we have on date for baptism is still doing super well. We have a pretty strong relationship with her already and have been able to already se

Aug 18-first week back in the city has been beyond amazing haha...

Image
Well this week flew by. The first week back in the city has been beyond amazing haha. Had to do a lot of driving around to get things situated with the zone but also had a lot of time to go out and find some new people. It's crazy how fast you can connect and share about the Gospel on a bus or waiting at a bus stop! Already seen some crazy sweet miracles and the hand of God in His work. One was at a bus stop about 4 days ago. Since we focus on YSA (18-30) we get to meet some pretty sweet people. One of which is a girl that just graduated from York University and is 22. She was just sitting at a bus stop and I decided to go up and sit beside her. We got talking and she opened right up. She had been struggling with finding a job, wants a new apartment and that had been stressing her out a lot. I was able to share how much the Gospel has brought stability and a peace of mind in my life. She agreed to meet the next day to talk a little more. Fast forward to the next day we were able

Aug 12-Moving/New zone in YSA Toronto:..what I am doing I know is the most important thing I could be doing in my life at this time...

Image
Well just wanted to start off by saying what I am doing I know is the most important thing I could be doing in my life at this time. Saving souls through our Savior Jesus Christ is the most important thing we can do at any point in our lives. But I guess I will be striving to do that else where as I got transfer calls and will be leaving Sudbury. For sure am very sad to be leaving as the miracles we have seen have been incredible. Too name a few from just this week, we found 7 new people to start teaching, had 12 of the people we are working with at church and are seeing some great progress with those we are working with that have a date for baptism. I will just barely miss the two people getting baptized in the next couple weeks, which is a little disappointing. But I know that God creates opportunities for others to reap from what you have sowed, which is completely fine as others have done the same for me. I love that we are all on the same team working for the Lord so it
