 When we work, miracles proceed. It's been a crazy adventure these past two weeks as we started off with no one to work with. Opening an area is for sure a new experience that I'm thankful to continue to be part of. Legit haven't had to go this hard and as consistently as we have in a while. But new challenges bring excitement and more to look forward to. I feel this week was a week to look back on and be extremely grateful for. We were able to get two of the people we have found on the street to church and one more committed for baptism on September 22! We found her just walking down the street Saturday night and met with her last night. She is 26 years old and just got to Canada a couple months ago. It's been amazing to see how so many people have a strong relationship with Christ in this area of Toronto. The other girl we have on date for baptism is still doing super well. We have a pretty strong relationship with her already and have been able to already see how the changes she is making to align her self with what God wants bring a new light to her. The change that comes about us as we commit to follow Jesus Christ is incredible. As we aren't afraid of change amazing things can happen. Many times we restrict ourselves from become better because we are afraid. "We need not feel that we must forever be what we presently are. There is a tendency to think of change as the enemy. Many of us are suspect of change and will often fight and resist it before we have even discovered what the actual effects will be. When change is thought through carefully, it can produce the most rewarding and profound experiences in life. The changes we make must fit the Lord’s purposes and patterns."(Progress through change 1979). I have seen how humility plays a key role in this. Those we meet with a humble heart and willing to act in faith are able to receive answers, such as if what these two guys are sharing is true or worth continuing to see if it is true. Those that aren't humble enough to do this struggle and many times receive no answer. Especially if they wouldn't even be willing to act after they had received an answer. For sure something to think about as we do anything in life spiritual or not. If we are committed things will happen if we aren't things won't. Pretty simple to say honestly haha. Easier said then done for sure. Also found another 3 new people this week to start working with, so sweet. Well I'm loving this place and am super thankful to be here. Surprise, we got transfer calls! I'll be leaving and heading to the heart of downtown Toronto. I will now be in the Toronto YSA ward and training a brand new missionary for my last transfer. Super hyped I am staying in the city and probably going to my dream area to end ahh....well this past transfer was pretty close to my dream area as well haha. It was another extremely bumping week. We were able to find 5 new, have 3 at church and three on date for baptism!! It is for sure bitter sweet but I know God has some crazy amazing things in store for Toronto YSA and us. This past week was sweet as my companion and I legit felt like celebrities  . We honestly had five or six people either come up to us or over hear us talking to someone else and want to hear more about the powerful message of the Restored Gospel. October 29, 2018 New Area. New companion.

Well Peterborough is sweet. My new comp is from southern California and got to Canada this past week. We have had to walk a ton as the last Elders left no kms on our car. So for the past three days we have only walked, which has been intresting. Good though as we aren't working with a lot of people yet as it's only been a week. But miracles are happening already for our diligence and hard work. We have got two people on date for baptism on Nov.25 so that is extremely exciting. We were able to find 3 new people this week who we started teaching and got some more appointments this week which will hopefully turn into new people we get to teach. Theres a lot of uni students as there is a college and uni in this city of only 80,000 so it's been fun talking to a lot of them. A lot of them are really open and enthusiastic about God which is super cool to see Haha. This week there was a scripture that really stood out to me in Mormon 9:31 which reads "Condemn me not...

Sept 10, 2018 Staying and Training

Well transfers happened and I will be staying another here. But will be training a new missionary so that will be a new and exciting experience for sure. It is crazy to think its been six more weeks and now am going on 12 weeks here in St. Thomas. We have some super solid people so Im so excited to see them progress. For sure am pumped to see what comes from this next six weeks here. We were able to find a really awesome family to start teaching from knocking the other day before a dinner appointment. That family I'm very excited for. Another lady with three kids we found this week. She was in a rough situation and so she just got out of a bad place and now is really looking for comfort. We taught her once and she is very receptive and truly felt the spirit. Another one is that door a couple weeks ago we felt prompted to knock on is progressing and should be coming out to church next week!! Then of course we have a 9 year old on date for baptism in Oct.
