Oct 12-This was a miraculous week filled with some amazing experiences and extraordinary events.

This was a miraculous week filled with some amazing experiences and extraordinary events. To start off the week we put a girl on date for baptism that we found 2 weeks ago. She is originally from South Africa and has had some very spiritual experiences in her life. One of which she said she had a dream of a bright light coming down but she was unsure what it was. This was actually extremely key to her conversion as she was able to resonate with Joseph Smith experience very well when he was able to see a bright light and see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. Instantly she expressed her belief in Joseph Smith. Following we read a passage from the Book of Mormon and said that feeling was reconfirmed. As we met with her each day at the church after her work this past week we had countless experiences that were very special. We were meeting with her after church on Sunday and she was able to express that she knew this was true and knew this is where she needed to be. We decided that if she wanted she could maybe move her baptismal date up. We were able to help her understand that there is no point in waiting as if we act we will be blessed. We asked her when she felt a good day to be baptized would be for her. She said this FRIDAY!!! Low and behold we have a baptism this Friday 🙏🏻. I could not ask God for a more ready and prepared individual to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized in His church. As I read through these statements I can't help but think of this individual. "The Apostle Paul taught that “faith is the substance [assurance] of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Alma made a similar statement: “If ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true” (Alma 32:21). Faith is a principle of action and power. Whenever we work toward a worthy goal, we exercise faith. We show our hope for something that we cannot yet see."(Gospel Topics Faith in Jesus Christ). She is the definition of this ahhaah. We had much to thank for yesterday that is for sure. Especially as we were going lesson to lesson yesterday we were able to find two more people to start teaching that are super cool and seem extremely willing to learn. Honestly I know I have brought this up before but The Book of Mormon is powerful. As soon as I can I share about the what, where and why of the Book of Mormon. It is amazing to be able to sit on a bus or subway and be readying a verse with someone you just met and them feel the power behind it. It stands on it's own of a witness of Jesus Christ and His restored church here on this earth. "All must experience and be found by the power of the truths contained in the Book of Mormon." (Found through the Power of the Book of Mormon Oct 2019 Conference Elder Alliaud). Super thankful for this past week and for the many things God has blessed me with. I am so glad that I am able to be rapping up my mission with these great experiences. I also just got word a family that my companion and I found in Sudbury is getting baptized this Saturday and will video call them to talk to them Saturday after there baptism. For sure is amazing to see the Lords work continue all over not only in this area. I hope everyone had a great week and was able to have a very happy Thanksgiving. Surprise, we got transfer calls! I'll be leaving and heading to the heart of downtown Toronto. I will now be in the Toronto YSA ward and training a brand new missionary for my last transfer. Super hyped I am staying in the city and probably going to my dream area to end ahh....well this past transfer was pretty close to my dream area as well haha. It was another extremely bumping week. We were able to find 5 new, have 3 at church and three on date for baptism!! It is for sure bitter sweet but I know God has some crazy amazing things in store for Toronto YSA and us. This past week was sweet as my companion and I legit felt like celebrities  . We honestly had five or six people either come up to us or over hear us talking to someone else and want to hear more about the powerful message of the Restored Gospel. October 29, 2018 New Area. New companion.

Well Peterborough is sweet. My new comp is from southern California and got to Canada this past week. We have had to walk a ton as the last Elders left no kms on our car. So for the past three days we have only walked, which has been intresting. Good though as we aren't working with a lot of people yet as it's only been a week. But miracles are happening already for our diligence and hard work. We have got two people on date for baptism on Nov.25 so that is extremely exciting. We were able to find 3 new people this week who we started teaching and got some more appointments this week which will hopefully turn into new people we get to teach. Theres a lot of uni students as there is a college and uni in this city of only 80,000 so it's been fun talking to a lot of them. A lot of them are really open and enthusiastic about God which is super cool to see Haha. This week there was a scripture that really stood out to me in Mormon 9:31 which reads "Condemn me not...

Sept 10, 2018 Staying and Training

Well transfers happened and I will be staying another here. But will be training a new missionary so that will be a new and exciting experience for sure. It is crazy to think its been six more weeks and now am going on 12 weeks here in St. Thomas. We have some super solid people so Im so excited to see them progress. For sure am pumped to see what comes from this next six weeks here. We were able to find a really awesome family to start teaching from knocking the other day before a dinner appointment. That family I'm very excited for. Another lady with three kids we found this week. She was in a rough situation and so she just got out of a bad place and now is really looking for comfort. We taught her once and she is very receptive and truly felt the spirit. Another one is that door a couple weeks ago we felt prompted to knock on is progressing and should be coming out to church next week!! Then of course we have a 9 year old on date for baptism in Oct.
