Oct 12-This was a miraculous week filled with some amazing experiences and extraordinary events.

This was a miraculous week filled with some amazing experiences and extraordinary events. To start off the week we put a girl on date for baptism that we found 2 weeks ago. She is originally from South Africa and has had some very spiritual experiences in her life. One of which she said she had a dream of a bright light coming down but she was unsure what it was. This was actually extremely key to her conversion as she was able to resonate with Joseph Smith experience very well when he was able to see a bright light and see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. Instantly she expressed her belief in Joseph Smith. Following we read a passage from the Book of Mormon and said that feeling was reconfirmed. As we met with her each day at the church after her work this past week we had countless experiences that were very special. We were meeting with her after church on Sunday and she was able to express that she knew this was true and knew this is where she needed to be. We decided that if she wanted she could maybe move her baptismal date up. We were able to help her understand that there is no point in waiting as if we act we will be blessed. We asked her when she felt a good day to be baptized would be for her. She said this FRIDAY!!! Low and behold we have a baptism this Friday 🏻. I could not ask God for a more ready and prepared individual to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized in His church. As I read through these statements I can't help but think of this individual. "The Apostle Paul taught that “faith is the substance [assurance] of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Alma made a similar statement: “If ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true” (Alma 32:21). Faith is a principle of action and power. Whenever we work toward a worthy goal, we exercise faith. We show our hope for something that we cannot yet see."(Gospel Topics Faith in Jesus Christ). She is the definition of this ahhaah. We had much to thank for yesterday that is for sure. Especially as we were going lesson to lesson yesterday we were able to find two more people to start teaching that are super cool and seem extremely willing to learn. Honestly I know I have brought this up before but The Book of Mormon is powerful. As soon as I can I share about the what, where and why of the Book of Mormon. It is amazing to be able to sit on a bus or subway and be readying a verse with someone you just met and them feel the power behind it. It stands on it's own of a witness of Jesus Christ and His restored church here on this earth. "All must experience and be found by the power of the truths contained in the Book of Mormon." (Found through the Power of the Book of Mormon Oct 2019 Conference Elder Alliaud). Super thankful for this past week and for the many things God has blessed me with. I am so glad that I am able to be rapping up my mission with these great experiences. I also just got word a family that my companion and I found in Sudbury is getting baptized this Saturday and will video call them to talk to them Saturday after there baptism. For sure is amazing to see the Lords work continue all over not only in this area. I hope everyone had a great week and was able to have a very happy Thanksgiving.
