Elder Fibke

Nov 27, 2017  So glad he is loving his mission and feels he is where he is suppose to be right now!  Its been such a blast honestly I miss you guys and my friends and stuff but for sure know Im supposed to be here right now serving the lord. Im in Kingston area specifically a little town called BelleVille. Its been such a blast being able to serve and help others brings me so much joy. I was able to ask a new investigator to be baptized on Wednesday and we have him on date for Jan 13 which is sick as heck haha! Also ordained a new convert to a priest the yesterday in church and give hi ma blessing! As well as give a talk in church about why Im there serving and what I want to do here as a missionary. It has been sweet to really study my scriptures and pray lots for what I should be doing to help others come unto Christ better and I truly can see as I read and pray I am able to know what to say to people and speak as the spirit prompts me to. November 21, 2017 Well, I guess Elder Lance arrived in Toronto on Monday evening!  We received a nice letter from his mission president with this picture taken the next morning with Pres. and Sister Shields! So excited for him and his new experiences! Can't wait to see where his first posting is and who is first companion is! As parents, we are SO thrilled he had such a great experience at the MTC in Provo. He LOVED it there!

Elder Fibke Week 2 (trying to ween him from the word 'sick!'- when did he even start saying this!?? none of his family knows....)  It’s been so amazing here I was able to commit to people to baptism this past couple weeks because of this sick new program here where we actually teach investigators that want to come into the mtc and learn more about us. I love healing others learn of this amazing gospel. I have been having so much fun with the boys here and am so excited to leave on Monday ! It’s crazy to think it’s already been almost three weeks. Still loving it and doing great! I know as I really on my Heavenly Father he can strengthen me and help me. The lessons I have been able to teach have been amazing. I have got to teach around 15 lessons and it’s sick. You really learn to follow the spirit. Elder Fibke Day 1: Yep so havent done anything really but got here fine and having a good time. Theres some sweet people in my district.  Elder Fibke Week 1 (Day 3): Ya honestly every thing is going amazing I havent been stressed or to tired or anything. The food is ok haha its not as bad as people say. But everyday has been amazing been able to build and share my testimony and the truthfulness of this gospel. The past couple days I have been teaching investigators and people that need help in growing there testimony's. I love it got such amazing district as well as companion from scottland. I have been able to read my scriptures and learn so much so its been amazing. I was able to have a really spiritual experience last night when one of the boys that im close to in my district going to the same mission as me shared this story. His dad passed away a year and a half ago and he was able to share a scripture before he died it was D&C 90:24. After his dad died h
