Elder Fibke Week 2 (trying to ween him from the word 'sick!'- when did he even start saying this!?? none of his family knows....)

 It’s been so amazing here I was able to commit to people to baptism this past couple weeks because of this sick new program here where we actually teach investigators that want to come into the mtc and learn more about us. I love healing others learn of this amazing gospel. I have been having so much fun with the boys here and am so excited to leave on Monday! It’s crazy to think it’s already been almost three weeks. Still loving it and doing great! I know as I really on my Heavenly Father he can strengthen me and help me. The lessons I have been able to teach have been amazing. I have got to teach around 15 lessons and it’s sick. You really learn to follow the spirit. I love everyone around me and have gotten really close to one in specific that lives like a hour away from us which is so sick. I’ll send some pictures later today but here’s a cool experience I had this past week. Anyway I had a sick experience I’ll share with you quick. This past week we had elder Nelson come speak to us it was sick. But before he spoke there was a musical number that was sung by these three girls! It was one of the most spiritual moments I have ever had! I could feel of God’s love for me and that I was doing the right thing in my life at this time. I could help but think of all the blessings he has given me in my life and I just started praying because I was so thankful for all that he has given me and blessed me with. I truly have been so blessed and it is because I have had a desire to follow him. I’m so excited to be able to go out into the field on Monday and start sharing the amazing truth that has been given to us by our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know with out a doubt that serving is going to bless my life so much as I work hard and continue to share it with others that have a desire to come closer to Jesus Christ. Surprise, we got transfer calls! I'll be leaving and heading to the heart of downtown Toronto. I will now be in the Toronto YSA ward and training a brand new missionary for my last transfer. Super hyped I am staying in the city and probably going to my dream area to end ahh....well this past transfer was pretty close to my dream area as well haha. It was another extremely bumping week. We were able to find 5 new, have 3 at church and three on date for baptism!! It is for sure bitter sweet but I know God has some crazy amazing things in store for Toronto YSA and us. This past week was sweet as my companion and I legit felt like celebrities  . We honestly had five or six people either come up to us or over hear us talking to someone else and want to hear more about the powerful message of the Restored Gospel. June 11, 2018 . Another miracle-found a family to teach!

Sunny days out here in Waterloo. Been able to get a nice tan...on half my arms and my face hahaha. Legs are um ..alittle whiter then flour 🤣. It's a rough go having to wear paints when it's 30 plus 🤣 . But been a good time. Well this week we had some cool experiences and was very eventful to say the least. First really cool experience was we were walking around talking to people just trying to find some people that would be down to listen to us. As we met this one lady we found out she was from Barbados and had only been here for a couple of months. She was on her way to get some groceries and so she had a second to talk. We started talking her about what we do as missionaries and started to get to know her. She ended up giving us her address and she said 'go right now, my son is there and you can teach him'. Sept 10, 2018 Staying and Training

Well transfers happened and I will be staying another here. But will be training a new missionary so that will be a new and exciting experience for sure. It is crazy to think its been six more weeks and now am going on 12 weeks here in St. Thomas. We have some super solid people so Im so excited to see them progress. For sure am pumped to see what comes from this next six weeks here. We were able to find a really awesome family to start teaching from knocking the other day before a dinner appointment. That family I'm very excited for. Another lady with three kids we found this week. She was in a rough situation and so she just got out of a bad place and now is really looking for comfort. We taught her once and she is very receptive and truly felt the spirit. Another one is that door a couple weeks ago we felt prompted to knock on is progressing and should be coming out to church next week!! Then of course we have a 9 year old on date for baptism in Oct.
