November 11, 2017 Day 1

Elder Fibke Day 1:

Yep so havent done anything really but got here fine and having a good time. Theres some sweet people in my district. 



Elder Fibke Week 1 (Day 3):

Ya honestly every thing is going amazing I havent been stressed or to tired or anything. The food is ok haha its not as bad as people say. But everyday has been amazing been able to build and share my testimony and the truthfulness of this gospel. The past couple days I have been teaching investigators and people that need help in growing there testimony's. I love it got such amazing district as well as companion from scottland. I have been able to read my scriptures and learn so much so its been amazing. I was able to have a really spiritual experience last night when one of the boys that im close to in my district going to the same mission as me shared this story. His dad passed away a year and a half ago and he was able to share a scripture before he died it was D&C 90:24. After his dad died he was having a really rough time with some people at school and was able to send his seminary teacher a message about how much he didn't like this kid because of the many rude things he was saying about him at this hard time in his life. His seminary teacher said nothing but sent him that exact scripture without knowing about what his dad did the week before he past away. I was able to feel the spirit so strong and feel so blessed to have the plan of salvation so that family's can be together forever. Love every and hope everthing is great.

Surprise, we got transfer calls! I'll be leaving and heading to the heart of downtown Toronto. I will now be in the Toronto YSA ward and training a brand new missionary for my last transfer. Super hyped I am staying in the city and probably going to my dream area to end ahh....well this past transfer was pretty close to my dream area as well haha. It was another extremely bumping week. We were able to find 5 new, have 3 at church and three on date for baptism!! It is for sure bitter sweet but I know God has some crazy amazing things in store for Toronto YSA and us. This past week was sweet as my companion and I legit felt like celebrities  . We honestly had five or six people either come up to us or over hear us talking to someone else and want to hear more about the powerful message of the Restored Gospel. June 11, 2018 . Another miracle-found a family to teach!

Sunny days out here in Waterloo. Been able to get a nice tan...on half my arms and my face hahaha. Legs are um ..alittle whiter then flour 🤣. It's a rough go having to wear paints when it's 30 plus 🤣 . But been a good time. Well this week we had some cool experiences and was very eventful to say the least. First really cool experience was we were walking around talking to people just trying to find some people that would be down to listen to us. As we met this one lady we found out she was from Barbados and had only been here for a couple of months. She was on her way to get some groceries and so she had a second to talk. We started talking her about what we do as missionaries and started to get to know her. She ended up giving us her address and she said 'go right now, my son is there and you can teach him'. Sept 10, 2018 Staying and Training

Well transfers happened and I will be staying another here. But will be training a new missionary so that will be a new and exciting experience for sure. It is crazy to think its been six more weeks and now am going on 12 weeks here in St. Thomas. We have some super solid people so Im so excited to see them progress. For sure am pumped to see what comes from this next six weeks here. We were able to find a really awesome family to start teaching from knocking the other day before a dinner appointment. That family I'm very excited for. Another lady with three kids we found this week. She was in a rough situation and so she just got out of a bad place and now is really looking for comfort. We taught her once and she is very receptive and truly felt the spirit. Another one is that door a couple weeks ago we felt prompted to knock on is progressing and should be coming out to church next week!! Then of course we have a 9 year old on date for baptism in Oct.
