Jan 29, 2018  Went out hiking today on our preparation day! This week was another killer week. I want to let you all know that when I say that I honesty mean it, as it feels like i say it almost every week  . Not always because it was the most uplifting or positive but because I am learning so much and growing. What more can I ask for. Another week of talking to some pretty funny, crazy and wonderful people. This week we had a guy we walked up to downtown and asked if we could share a card with him. He said yes I love Jesus. So we gave it to him (he was drunk). Anyway it got to the point where he was almost yelling, telling us how amazing we were and that we were sent from God and my companion and I were like what the heck is going on. Anyway ended up with a lot of people stairing at us and him hugging us and telling us he would for sure phone us and talk to us  . So that was a funny contacting experience from this week. Jan 22, 2018 This week so so great! We got the opportunity to find some new boys to teach. They are both really good at basketball so we got play ball with them Saturday night and then teach them! They are such great young men. Seeing them really made me look back well I was in high school and recognize the blessing that my friends played in my life growing up. Being in this world today is truly hard, especially growing up and finding out what direction and kind of person you want to be. I am very blessed I had good influences all around me that helped aim me in a positive direction. We started to talk about repentance and how we can be forgiven of the things we have done wrong in the past as we ask in prayer to be forgiven. Hearing that made him smile and he asked "is smoking weed or drinking bad" and we said well yes it for sure isn't the best haha. Monday, Jan 08, 2018 So this week was great we were able to find some new people interested about learning more about our church and how they become closer to Jesus Christ. We were able to see so many miracles this past week and had so much fun well doing it. The first one was on Thursday. It was -30 and we were done with contacting outside downtown because I think we started to get hypothermia, colder then the Antarctica, and I can say that because Iv'e been there hahaha. Anyway we decided to head to the mail and see what we could do for talking to people there. So we started to walk   around and I mean I kinda was like what are we doing this is so weird haha but we started talking to people sitting down and giving out some cards and stuff so it was ok. Jan 3, 2018 Well Everything is going great, got a new companion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is beyond awesome and I already love him! He's our district leader and loves to work hard and go and talk to people. The first day of us being together we got phone numbers and handed out a ton of pamphlets. He is truly a legend ahhaha. I cant wait to see what this transfer has in store for us...Past couple weeks have been so exciting! I love the work and being able to learn how we can come closer to Jesus Christ our savour as well as help others to do the same. Lately I have been thinking a lot about endure to the end and how we can make sure we are helping our members and investigators do so. It is truly a hard thing for sure because the world we live in today is pretty messed up to say the least hahaha. Dec 28, 2017 This past week has been full of crazy emotions ahhaah. I got to skype the family and what a blessing that was! I have really realized how important they are to me and what a big role they have played in my life and becoming who I am. What a blessing it is to me that I can live with them for not only this earthly life but after for all eternity!! What an amazing plan our heavenly father has provided us to be able to do so!!
