Well Everything is going great, got a new companion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is beyond awesome and I already love him! He's our district leader and loves to work hard and go and talk to people. The first day of us being together we got phone numbers and handed out a ton of pamphlets. He is truly a legend ahhaha. I cant wait to see what this transfer has in store for us...Past couple weeks have been so exciting! I love the work and being able to learn how we can come closer to Jesus Christ our savour as well as help others to do the same. Lately I have been thinking a lot about endure to the end and how we can make sure we are helping our members and investigators do so. It is truly a hard thing for sure because the world we live in today is pretty messed up to say the least hahaha. But through the scriptures, prayer and listening to the council of our leaders we can truly grasp the meaning of endure to the end. I love 2 Nephi 31:20 "Wherefore, ye must press forward with a stead fastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life." We need to realize that as we study the scriptures we can learn so much. Right there it tells us one way we can do so and a very important way "feasting upon the word of Christ" as we do so we will gain eternal life because the teachings in the Book of Mormon and Bible are truly from God and help us return and live with him. So I invite everyone to think and ponder on how you do on "feasting upon the word of Christ" and see how you can become better at doing so, so you can endure to the end and receive the blessing of eternal life in the best place possible !! An awesome thing I will challenge you all to do to help you with this is make a tee chart. On one side put what puts me in the situation to feel the spirit and have an effective study and on the other the opposite, what things distract from the spirit and from a focused study. For example back home I for sure would say my phone distracted me or people being load around me. If you do that and make that chart and see what you could do to make it effective I promise you will be closer to the spirit and get more out of what you are reading. Ultimately gaining a better understanding of what things you need to do to become better and endure to the end and receive that ultimate goal that we all desire eternal life. We got to go to a members house on new years and have such a fun time!! She lived on a Island and we got to go hiking around and see some amazing scenery. It is pretty cold out here though its getting to -34 with the windshield on days and walking around and knocking on doors is cold as heck but so worth how happy it makes me and others when they decide to listen to our messages and see how much it blesses there life and comforts them.
