Another week gone by. The weeks here go by so fast we have been crazy busy lately, which is very nice. But we got a crazy amount of snow yesterday our church was cancelled because they were worried about people getting stuck!!! But my companion and I got invited to go to a cathic and United church from one of our investigator that have been coming out to ours so we said yes haha. It was a very neat experience, very different 😂. But some similarities as well. I didn't understand some of what was going on but I can say I have been to two different services now other then ours haha. It's so great to see how seriously people take religion. I hope that one day they can here the message of the restoration and be able to learn more about the Church of Jesus Christ of later day saints to possibly broaden there horizon. But anyway that was one thing I wanted to talk about the other is repentance. As we have been teaching people such a key concept is repentance. As this is the only way we can return and live with our heavenly father. "No unclean thing can dwell with God"(1 Nephi 10:21). So to make sure we are worthy to live with our heavenly father we need to constantly be repenting and striving to be the best people we can. The synonym to repentance in the bible dictionary is change. So as we repent and try to do our very best to become better we are changing and truly helping ourselves because we are putting ourselves in the best place possible to return and live with our heavenly father again, as well as our family's. So as we look at repentance it is not a sad or unhappy thing at all. We are helping ourselves become clean again so we can feel free of our sins as well as making sure we can live with our heavenly father again. As I have been out this is truly something that has touched me and I know that this is the only way to return and live with our heavenly father and savior again. Now some of the repercussions might not be desirable but as we realize this is helping us in the big picture it is all worth it. I hope as we all go through I life we can learn and grow as we make small and big mistakes. Also know we can be forgiven as we take the steps to do so. We are so blessed to be able to repent and for our heavenly father to provide a way to return back and live with him even when we make mistakes is so special to me. Image the sacrifice he made to have his "only begotten son" take upon the pains and afflictions of the world. I have grown so much and am go to do everything possible to be forgiven and obtain a clean slate to become worthy to live with God and my savoir Jesus Christ once again no matter the repercussions. Anyway on a diffrent not we were able to teach so many people this week and help them gain a better knowledge of Jesus Christ and what role he plays as well as teach many about the reason we are here on this earth today and where we came from and where we are going. I can't thank my God enough for blessing me to know these deep but simply questions 😊. It makes me smile every time I think of his amazing plan. Well I love you all hope you have a great week.
