O my gosh!! If I've ever had a busy week in my life this one was it!! I am so insanely blessed to be able to keep so busy so much!!! I was able to see so many miracles and so much growth in people we are working with and finding everyday!!! We had the opportunity to have zone conference on Wednesday (a big meeting that's all day with a lot of other missionaries that happens once every six weeks). As well as another full day thing at the temple on Saturday! It was so amazing!!! I loved being able to take one new member and two returning members to do temple work!!! Two of which had never been before!!! As we work with so many people in inviting them to come unto Christ and learn more about our believes we see a change for the better in so many people! Even just little things such as a cleaner house next time you come to visit, more cheerful and enthusiastic about what they are learning and the list goes on and I love seeing it as the gospel does change people for the better !!! As they learn to better themselves they improve, not only them but I improve because it effects me and truly humbles me and makes me so much more thankful, joyful and enthusiastic about our message we bring. I was reading a talk by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland about self improvement and become better. Here's a little part of it that really hit home for me "Please remember tomorrow, and all the days after that, that the Lord blesses those who want to improve, who accept the need for commandments and try to keep them, who cherish Christlike virtues and strive to the best of their ability to acquire them. If you stumble in that pursuit, so does everyone; the Savior is there to help you keep going. If you fall, summon His strength. Call out like Alma, “O Jesus, … have mercy on me.” He will help you get back up. He will help you repent, repair, fix whatever you have to fix, and keep going. Soon enough you will have the success you seek.
“As you desire of me so it shall be done unto you,” the Lord has declared.
“… Put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good—yea, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously. …
“… [Then] whatsoever you desire of me [in] righteousness, … you shall receive.”"
I know that as we desire to do rightous things that will help us become better and more like our savior Jesus Christ, we will be blessed! We will without a doubt in my mind. I hope we all strive for this as it truly can change you for the better. Change is repenting and repenting is key to our progression in this life. On a daily bases I have that oppurtnity to kneel down and speak through prayer with my heavenly father and change (repent) and become better, as we all should be doing to help our eternal progression. I love being able to explain this to others because change/repentance is not, I repeat is not a bad thing it is far from that, it's a positive and exciting thing that we can have a chance to change and become better 🤙! I hope we all can apply change/repentance in our life and not look at it as a scary or bad thing, but something that does and will help you become better and help you stay on the straight and narrow path of living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Well I love you all and hope you had a great week it's finally getting so nice here and we been getting to chop up lots of wood in the sun which is a very big plus haha. Love you all and keep being wonderful people.
Ps: I did get Facebook and you guys for sure can friend me I would love you to but we are to use it for helping people come unto Christ and teaching more about what we believe. So if you send a message and I don't reply I love you I promise but it's because I am supposed to stay focused on that purpose of inviting others to come unto Christ and teach about the gospel of Jesus Christ! But if you have any question you would like to be taught regarding the church and what we believe we are aloud to teach over Skype or video messenger through Facebook anyone that wants to learn more, so for sure feel free to send a message to me and ask as many questions as you desire, I would love to answer them to the best of my ability !!!
