This week was insanely tiring. There was so many days I woke up dead. But got through it. I was tired for good reasons though, we have been so crazy busy its unreal. Found another 6 people to start teaching and we are starting to have a crazy/a lot of teaching appointments. Looks like we will have a baptism coming up her pretty soon which is so awesome to see that. To be able to see someone make a covenant (promise) with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is so amazing and a very extraordinary experience for us as missionaries. I've learned that if you talk to enough people you will find the people will to speak to you. You have to walk into weeds to find the one flower Haha. Those weeds-hard rough though for real but when you find the flower you smile from ear to ear knowing God is there and he is preparing people for you to teach his gospel. We had some crazy miracles this week and we saw so many blessings. One being a man that just got out of detox decided to walk into our church and we saw him walking up to the doors and so we opened up and let him come in of course. He has had some crazy experiences we found out later in our conversation as we taught him after church. He knows he needs to change and that's why he came to a place he felt was right. I know God lead him to us to be able to help change his life for the better. So we got him a twelve step booklet to help him out with his addictions and taught him about the Plan of Happiness. He loved it and we have another appointment in a couple days! We also have an appointment with a person we haven't taught before tonight from contacting on the street. He was very dedicated to his faith until he eventually fell away due to some personal matters. He said that was one of the biggest mistakes. Now he has a kid and he feels he can't stay on the track that he is on. He knows that religion can do that for him and he wants to join our church for his family. He's got the one kid and wife but sounds like planning on more little ones coming ahha. Over and over again he said 'never ever let anyone lead you astray from what you believe'. For the first time in a while he said he felt the comfort that everything was going to work out because of the things we were testifying of. To top it all off at the end he said we look extremely fresh hahaha. But for real, this work of the Lord is extremely amazing and I am so blessed to go out everyday to share a message of peace. Just as Psalm 29:11 says "The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.". I know that is completely true. There's so many times I feel stressed or feel like God isn't pleased with me but I am always humbled at how he helps me feel his love and peace in different ways. I know that the peace I am receiving right now is nothing that the world can give me and only what my Father in Heaven can give me through the spirit. As John 14:26-27 says "26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.". Through doing what God wants me to do I can receive that comfort that this scripture talks about. But its not only me that can feel that but all of you can as well. I invite you to pray and ask to feel that peace because if you sincerely mean it and want it I know, you will be able to experience the same feelings I feel on a daily basis. Continuing to get very dark and its sweet! I'm thinking I am starting to get use to the heat and humidity and don't mind it too much anymore. I'm excited to be able to go jump in a lake or pool to cool off
after a long hot day of work though when I'm back in Calgary Haha. I'm doing awesome and hope all of you are doing wonderful as well. Miss and love all of you and hope you have a wonderful week!!!
