Exciting times. Honestly this week was packed with so much good and excitement. From getting to go to the temple to listening to general conference, where our prophet and apostles speak to us!!! To be honest, it really got me to want to continue to change, repent and become better haha. First off let me tell you a couple of funny and really cool stories that for sure made me smile this week. Saturday we were out contacting (talking to people on the street) in between general conference sessions and we ran into a group of about 60 people straight from Mexico. None of them spoke English so we decided to call the Spanish sisters and we just passed the phone between all of them and got so many numbers and Facebook ðŸ˜‚  All of them were like "my turn with the phone" It was so funny-they were so nice and wanted to talk to us. It truly made me a little jealous of those foreign missions that experience this more regularly Haha. Then later that night we were knocking doors and someone answered, which honestly doesn't happen a lot so we were so excited! But to our dismay their dog bolted across a main street so we had to chase it for like 10 mins ðŸ˜‚. It was a fun adventure. We were worried if we didn't get it and something happen to his dog this guy would really dislike us to say it kindly. But a miracle was placed into our hands and we caught it. We then got the dog back and shared a message so that was super sweet. We still got our three on date for baptism. One will be next week! One got moved to Nov 3,and the other December 1. The guy that is getting baptized December 1st struggles a lot with smoking. This is obviously a problem as he needs to be following the word of wisdom to be baptized. Because of his struggles he has been having with this and his true desire to change, we offered to give him a blessing. This honestly was such a spiritual experience for me and the man. I was able to give him a blessing of comfort to be able to with stand the urge to smoke and continue with this addictive substance. After I gave him a blessing all three of us sat down and sat there in silence for probably 2min. The spirit was so strong and this man was just looking down in tears. After the silence he looked up in his tears and said "this is going to be a rough road I know. But I'm going to try". We were able to let him know how much we care about him and love him as well as his Father in Heaven. We shared Mosiah 2:41 with him which reads "And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.". I was able to share that blessing truly do come from being obedient. We have these commandments not to hold us back or down, their here for our benefit and to bless us! I truly believe this. I know that obedience is needed to reap the rewards that our Heavenly Father is just waiting to poor down on us. Honestly made me so thankful for the priesthood as well. To be worthy to exercise it and be representing my Savior Jesus Christ at this time in my life. Putting me in the position to bless and strengthen others believes in christ through the spirit. Just as John 14:27 says "peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.". The spirit is the one that can bring you real peace. I invite you all to search for that peace because it can be found as you consistently and fervently search. Why take my word for it? Do it for yourself. Well family and friends in Calgary I'm sorry because what I am about to say may upset you. But it was 26°C yesterday and today. It's legit been so hot. I walked out this morning and wondered if I was in Mexico it was so humid and hot. But ready for the snow I think. Been doing so good. My shoes are thrashed and so I'm excited for the winter to wear my boots again as they are less worn. Legit my shoes are on slate so I walk weird now because how much I've walked in them this past summer ahha. But God has really been treating us well. I truly believe it goes back to what I was saying earlier. Because my companion and I are being obedient and diligent God is blessing us. Surprise, we got transfer calls! I'll be leaving and heading to the heart of downtown Toronto. I will now be in the Toronto YSA ward and training a brand new missionary for my last transfer. Super hyped I am staying in the city and probably going to my dream area to end ahh....well this past transfer was pretty close to my dream area as well haha. It was another extremely bumping week. We were able to find 5 new, have 3 at church and three on date for baptism!! It is for sure bitter sweet but I know God has some crazy amazing things in store for Toronto YSA and us. This past week was sweet as my companion and I legit felt like celebrities  . We honestly had five or six people either come up to us or over hear us talking to someone else and want to hear more about the powerful message of the Restored Gospel. October 29, 2018 New Area. New companion.

Well Peterborough is sweet. My new comp is from southern California and got to Canada this past week. We have had to walk a ton as the last Elders left no kms on our car. So for the past three days we have only walked, which has been intresting. Good though as we aren't working with a lot of people yet as it's only been a week. But miracles are happening already for our diligence and hard work. We have got two people on date for baptism on Nov.25 so that is extremely exciting. We were able to find 3 new people this week who we started teaching and got some more appointments this week which will hopefully turn into new people we get to teach. Theres a lot of uni students as there is a college and uni in this city of only 80,000 so it's been fun talking to a lot of them. A lot of them are really open and enthusiastic about God which is super cool to see Haha. This week there was a scripture that really stood out to me in Mormon 9:31 which reads "Condemn me not...

Sept 10, 2018 Staying and Training

Well transfers happened and I will be staying another here. But will be training a new missionary so that will be a new and exciting experience for sure. It is crazy to think its been six more weeks and now am going on 12 weeks here in St. Thomas. We have some super solid people so Im so excited to see them progress. For sure am pumped to see what comes from this next six weeks here. We were able to find a really awesome family to start teaching from knocking the other day before a dinner appointment. That family I'm very excited for. Another lady with three kids we found this week. She was in a rough situation and so she just got out of a bad place and now is really looking for comfort. We taught her once and she is very receptive and truly felt the spirit. Another one is that door a couple weeks ago we felt prompted to knock on is progressing and should be coming out to church next week!! Then of course we have a 9 year old on date for baptism in Oct.
