Mar 4, 2019 Sudbury is so sweet!

Sudbury is so sweet! The members the people everything is so great. Honestly cold wise isn't even bad either. Feels like a typical winter in Calgary during March. Saw so many miracles and felt so uplifted this week. I love my new companion, he is legit a good buddy already. We both are pretty similar and both have some ambitious goals that I know can be achieved through hard work and diligence. We were able to teach a girl this week that we committed to be baptized for March 16 so coming up super quick so I'm so excited for that. My mission has really help me realize the blessing of the gospel and how it truly affected my life for the better. We were able to listen to an amazing speaker talk this weekend. He was a member of the 70 (Elder Gay). One thing he said that was very profound to me was "You either live your life by covenant or by convenience.". This hit me hard and really made me think. I went home that night and studied up on covenants and what it has meant to me to make covenants (promises with God such as baptism). I am so grateful I have been able to come to realize the importance of covenants as I know its key for us returning to our Heavenly Father. One thing that I have been really trying to do because I know God loves all of his children is not judge people. It's super hard for me to not have preconceived opinions. As I was studying this topic I came across this. "“I wish to urge upon the Saints … to understand men and women as they are, and not understand them as you are.” “How often it is said—‘Such a person has done wrong, and he cannot be a Saint.’ … We hear some swear and lie … [or] break the Sabbath. … Do not judge such persons, for you do not know the design of the Lord concerning them. … [Rather,] bear with them.”"(Taking upon Ourselves the name of Christ October 2018). So my goal is to do this. I would invite you to do the same no matter who it is. Legit I feel this will make me so much more positive and focus on how Christ views me and His other children. Anyway I know this is short but this week we had a lot of administrative stuff to do but honestly feel so happy right now. I'm thankful for my family that have really supported me and my friends. Legit feel the prayers you say for me. Thank you and hope you are all doing so well. Have an amazing week!! 👌💎👑🤙.

Surprise, we got transfer calls! I'll be leaving and heading to the heart of downtown Toronto. I will now be in the Toronto YSA ward and training a brand new missionary for my last transfer. Super hyped I am staying in the city and probably going to my dream area to end ahh....well this past transfer was pretty close to my dream area as well haha. It was another extremely bumping week. We were able to find 5 new, have 3 at church and three on date for baptism!! It is for sure bitter sweet but I know God has some crazy amazing things in store for Toronto YSA and us. This past week was sweet as my companion and I legit felt like celebrities  . We honestly had five or six people either come up to us or over hear us talking to someone else and want to hear more about the powerful message of the Restored Gospel. October 29, 2018 New Area. New companion.

Well Peterborough is sweet. My new comp is from southern California and got to Canada this past week. We have had to walk a ton as the last Elders left no kms on our car. So for the past three days we have only walked, which has been intresting. Good though as we aren't working with a lot of people yet as it's only been a week. But miracles are happening already for our diligence and hard work. We have got two people on date for baptism on Nov.25 so that is extremely exciting. We were able to find 3 new people this week who we started teaching and got some more appointments this week which will hopefully turn into new people we get to teach. Theres a lot of uni students as there is a college and uni in this city of only 80,000 so it's been fun talking to a lot of them. A lot of them are really open and enthusiastic about God which is super cool to see Haha. This week there was a scripture that really stood out to me in Mormon 9:31 which reads "Condemn me not...

Sept 10, 2018 Staying and Training

Well transfers happened and I will be staying another here. But will be training a new missionary so that will be a new and exciting experience for sure. It is crazy to think its been six more weeks and now am going on 12 weeks here in St. Thomas. We have some super solid people so Im so excited to see them progress. For sure am pumped to see what comes from this next six weeks here. We were able to find a really awesome family to start teaching from knocking the other day before a dinner appointment. That family I'm very excited for. Another lady with three kids we found this week. She was in a rough situation and so she just got out of a bad place and now is really looking for comfort. We taught her once and she is very receptive and truly felt the spirit. Another one is that door a couple weeks ago we felt prompted to knock on is progressing and should be coming out to church next week!! Then of course we have a 9 year old on date for baptism in Oct.
