April 1/19 Mission life is going super well-At the beginning...now I...

April is here what the!!! Its starting to get a little warmer to so that's a tender mercy ahah. Had to drive to Brampton again this past week so um that took up two days of my week for another Leadership conference. Again is super uplifting and motivating though and am grateful for them. They actually touched on being Finishers in the Gospel and our missions and it resonated with me a lot. I know I still have 7 months but for sure some days it can be easy to justify taking it slower because I'm starting to get tired or what ever it may be. It really made me think about making sure I give it 120% all the time no matter what! For sure learned to work hard back home but the principle of working hard is being put to the test daily as I go out so I'm super glad I had that instilled in me growing up. It has really blessed me as a missionary. Was studying this week and came across this jem. "Life offers you two precious gifts. One is time, the other, freedom of choice—the freedom to buy with your time what you will. You are free to exchange your allotment of time for thrills. You may trade it for base desires. You may invest it in greed. You may purchase with it vanity; you may spend your time in pursuit of material things. Yours is the freedom to choose. But these are not bargains, for in them you find no lasting satisfaction" (Making the right Decisions October 1979). Honestly this is how I feel I need to make sure I see my mission and life. I have choices and I want to make the right decisions and know I can through using my agency for the good and listening to God. What an opportunity we have to have the choice to make our own decisions. We had a lady we are teaching this week make a decision to follow Jesus Christ and be baptized at the beginning of May so that was super special! So now we will have to people hopefully getting baptized May 11 as we had one other younger lady on date for baptism for that day! One of the greatest things about the Gospel of Jesus Christ is taking those steps to change for the better. I for sure know that baptism is key to that change! So always gets me hyped to see someone be willing even if we have to move it back a little if they need some more time. God truly is blessing us as we found her just talking to people on the street and gave her a Book of Mormon. Its kinda cool to see how my finding as a missionary has changed through my mission as well. At the beginning of my mission I would shy away from telling people about the book of mormon just because I feel I didnt have a strong testimony of it. Or I was scared as I knew people would try to bash it. But now I always bring it up as I know the power that comes from another testament of Jesus Christ, The Book of Mormon is true and if the Book of Mormon is true everything else is! But anyway mission life is still going super well. God truly continues to help me and it is amazing each day to see his hand in my life. Love u all keep being amazing!! 👑👌🤙💎
