April 15, 2019 Great experiences with investigators

Hey everyone! It's finally getting warmer so that's a score! Well another week full of learning, growing and crazy sweet miracles. I'll start by telling one. So we were having a super solid week and out of no where we get a text message. It was an online referral for a Bible and Book of Mormon. So we were pretty hyped and we phoned her up and set up a time to drop by. We then returned the next day to drop it off. As we were talking to her and explained what we do as missionaries she was extremely excited to hear that we share messages about Christ. By this point I felt so good about her. But what happens next was insane and for sure leads me to believe God put us in her path to help you find truth. So in the middle of our conversation she stops us. Goes quiet for a second and asks....do you baptize by full immersion? We responded yes....then she says do you do it with the authority Jesus Christ had? We said we believe we do yes. Then this next part is where it gets real! She gets are bubbly and smiley and says my husband and I have been searching for this. Thank you God! We ended up putting her on date for baptism at the door step. We then set a time to come back and start teaching her, her husband and 4 boys!!! If that's not a miracle I don't know what is!! I know that God leads us to "The elect ...those who love God with all their hearts and live lives that are pleasing to Him. Those who live such lives of discipleship will one day be selected by the Lord to be among His chosen children.". I love this and truly strive to be one of those elect. It for sure helps being out here focused on the saviour and preaching his gospel. It's been super amazing being out here o my goodness. With this it has truly built an amazing gospel foundation for my whole life and help me to realize what I should be doing here on this earth. Super grateful for that. But also still super excited as I got 6 more months to serve with all my heart and strength. Not going to lie though I'm getting pretty tired ahha. I guess this next couple months will be the real test of enduring well to the end Haha. But truly enjoy being out here sharing the gospel. We have two other people on date for baptism. One for May 4 and one for May 11 so I'm pretty excited about that. They both are doing super well and progressing tremendously in the understanding of the gospel. Truly one of the greatest parts is seeing these wonderful children of God start to understand the way back to our father in heaven! I know all can as we turn to Him and his gospel. I like what was said at general conference by President Nelson "He wants His children to choose to return to Him, prepared, qualified, endowed, sealed, and faithful to covenants made in holy temples.". I truly want this for me and my family. As well for others because I know it'll bring so much joy. I for sure am so grateful to be out here and hope all of you are doing super good! Hope everyone has a wonderful week! 🙏💎🤘
