April 8, 2019 Still in Sudbury with a new companion from South Africa..& some fancy bathroom!!

Well another transfer has begun and a new companion! He will becoming up tomorrow night so I'm pretty pumped. He is from the Ivory Coast so that will be sick to experience living with someone from Africa Haha. Honestly the work keeps getting better and better though. Legit God is blessing us so much. We were able to put another younger guy on date for baptism for May 4th. So that will now hopefully be 3 in May now! Honestly have built such a great testimony that as we do all we can we will be blessed with people people to teach and feel that God is truly proud. This is how I see it "“Sometimes the spirit of revelation will operate immediately and intensely, other times subtly and gradually, and often so delicately you may not even consciously recognize it. But regardless of the pattern whereby this blessing is received, the light it provides will illuminate and enlarge your soul, enlighten your understanding"(What Can I do to Receive Answers from God). I see it like this as we go doing about missionary work. I look back on my day and realize how blessed we were and how us being somewhere at a certain time was inspired! Was a sweet weekend full of inspired talks with General Conference. For sure helped me refocus on the things I need to as a person and missionary. So super thankful for that. Honestly was a solid week but had to drive a lot as we had our live district council which are like a four hour drive Haha! So crazy. Well been doing lots of knocking and also contacting. Its finally getting warm so it's a lot more enjoyable Haha. Well last night was a super cool experience. After conference we had some elders sleeping over for transfers and we had about a hour left. My comp was doing language study for the last hour and the other two elders were trying to fill time. So I decided since I wasn't doing much I would going on a mini finding exchange with one of them. It was 8pm at night and normally I wouldn't knock doors just because it is dark and so on. But felt we should. So we went at it and were able to find this super nice collage guy that took a Book of Mormon. Right before I was praying so hard to have a uplifting experience as this Elder is from Tahiti and he has been kinda struggling with his English. Honestly this lit him up and the next door he went for a was so confident. Just super uplifting and awesome experience to see how God truly wants His children happy and will bless you for doing hard things. Truly love the message we get to share of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel because we sacrificed us being comfortable this happened. Just as it says in gospel topics under sacrifice, "To sacrifice is to give up something valuable or precious, often with the intent of accomplishing a greater purpose or goal. Sacrifice has always been a part of the gospel of Jesus Christ.". I see this over and over again. But anyway legit am loving it here in Sudbury and super excited to see what comes of this next six weeks. God is good and you are to so keep being amazing Haha. Have a great week!! 👑👌🤙💎

Surprise, we got transfer calls! I'll be leaving and heading to the heart of downtown Toronto. I will now be in the Toronto YSA ward and training a brand new missionary for my last transfer. Super hyped I am staying in the city and probably going to my dream area to end ahh....well this past transfer was pretty close to my dream area as well haha. It was another extremely bumping week. We were able to find 5 new, have 3 at church and three on date for baptism!! It is for sure bitter sweet but I know God has some crazy amazing things in store for Toronto YSA and us. This past week was sweet as my companion and I legit felt like celebrities  . We honestly had five or six people either come up to us or over hear us talking to someone else and want to hear more about the powerful message of the Restored Gospel. October 29, 2018 New Area. New companion.

Well Peterborough is sweet. My new comp is from southern California and got to Canada this past week. We have had to walk a ton as the last Elders left no kms on our car. So for the past three days we have only walked, which has been intresting. Good though as we aren't working with a lot of people yet as it's only been a week. But miracles are happening already for our diligence and hard work. We have got two people on date for baptism on Nov.25 so that is extremely exciting. We were able to find 3 new people this week who we started teaching and got some more appointments this week which will hopefully turn into new people we get to teach. Theres a lot of uni students as there is a college and uni in this city of only 80,000 so it's been fun talking to a lot of them. A lot of them are really open and enthusiastic about God which is super cool to see Haha. This week there was a scripture that really stood out to me in Mormon 9:31 which reads "Condemn me not...

Sept 10, 2018 Staying and Training

Well transfers happened and I will be staying another here. But will be training a new missionary so that will be a new and exciting experience for sure. It is crazy to think its been six more weeks and now am going on 12 weeks here in St. Thomas. We have some super solid people so Im so excited to see them progress. For sure am pumped to see what comes from this next six weeks here. We were able to find a really awesome family to start teaching from knocking the other day before a dinner appointment. That family I'm very excited for. Another lady with three kids we found this week. She was in a rough situation and so she just got out of a bad place and now is really looking for comfort. We taught her once and she is very receptive and truly felt the spirit. Another one is that door a couple weeks ago we felt prompted to knock on is progressing and should be coming out to church next week!! Then of course we have a 9 year old on date for baptism in Oct.
