May 6/19..honestly say this might have been one the busiest weeks of my mission!..Recognize these 2 missionaries from home?

I can honestly say this might have been one of the busiest weeks of my mission! We had zone Conference up close to Toronto, I had an exchange with one of the Elders in my zone and a baptism on Saturday! Plus it was actually super nice majority of the days! So all around was a extremely extraordinary week. The landscape out here is super interesting Haha. All rocks and forest. Kinda cool but really dont understand how they have built so much as it legit is rock every where you look 🤣. Well I'll tell you a little about the baptism. It was a 21 year old guy who was referred to us by a recent convert of about a year now. The one that got baptized as soon as I met him I knew he was going to progress well!! I asked so do you have any religious background, his response was I'm in between Mormon (this was before we taught him we aren't Mormons but members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter days Saints ahha) and Catholicism. In my head I started to freak out and was beyond hyped! Through teaching him I truly felt that I met someone with very special and unique faith. He knew all we shared was true because he had faith that it was. He was able to confirm that through the spirit but he truly is a great example to me of someone that was willing to take a leap of Faith without knowing everything, but knowing enough to go through with making a very important and crucial covenant with God! Super grateful I was able to play a little role in sharing the gospel with him and helping him get to the point he desired to make that special promise/covenant with God! I feel this scripture sums it up well in Alma, "And now as I said concerning faith—faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true."(Alma 32:21). This is truly what I feel I have been able to gain more then ever on my mission. I truly believe what I share is true not because I've seen God or have even had any insanely extraordinary experience in regards to our Heavenly Father and Son Jesus Christ. But I have had enough of a confirmation through the experiences and impressions through the spirit in my life that I know this is Christ church and He truly is at the Head of it leading and guiding us through a prophet, just as He has done in the past! That alone in enough for me to know this is true and there is no other way I would rather have it. On another note super pumped as we have another baptism this Saturday as well. She is a 29 year old single lady. She is so kind and has been coming to church since August! I'm super excited as she has finally decided this is what she needs to do to show God she wants to continue to come closer to Him. I know making these promises with God are serious and as we live up to them we are blessed immensely. I can see it in my life as well as my families! It dosen't mean I am perfect or we as a family are. But we all understand and strive to be more like Christ. Which ultimately brings unity as a family and Individuals. I love how the gospel is designed. Just like in sports if we work at it, we get better and stronger. In the gospel that applies as well. You dont know things until you apply them. I didn't know how to best hold a football until I tried different ways and sometimes even fumbled after getting hit once or twice. But then I started to figure out what made the ball more secure, I made sure it was always high and tight to all points of my body because I knew that's what the most secure way to hold the ball was. The gospel is the same way. I invite all of you to put it to the test if you haven't all ready, if you have start testing it more dedicate a little everyday to continue to find truth and learn the best ways of shaping and forming yourselves to being better disciples of Christ....I'll even do the same 🤣😝. But for real hope everyone back home is doing well. Love u all and hope you have a great week!!!
