April 24, 2018  1/4 of my mission done!
โ€‹Well another week gone. It's crazy to think that I just finished 1/4 of my mission..... What the heck!?! Well it's been crazy awesome! I have learned so much and have grown so much as a person. Im not going to lie Im still very load and um same old me but my perspective on life for sure has changed. My testimony in my Savior Jesus Christ has grown so much. I know I just don't think I know my Savior Jesus Christ suffered for me!!! I love John 3:16-17 "16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.". I love replacing world with my name. You have to change some words up to make sense of it but try it for yourself. It tells me even if I was the only person on this planet, God still would send his son for me. So I could return and live with him again. Everyone of us is so important to him and it is so key for us to repent. Remember repentance is positive. It is so amazing we get a second chance..third chance and so on. When you repent you get the opportunity to look back at your mistakes and change, become better from it. We are here to learn like I mentioned before "The Lord loves broken things", so it's ok when you mess up, change and become better from it. Now I'm not saying go do something wrong because the Lords sacrifice will cover it. If you truly loved him you wouldn't want him to suffer anymore than he did. Making you strive to become more like him and ultimately helping you become the best you possible. Mistakes are gold mines as we can learn and improve from them. Our Heavenly Father knew we would make wrong choices and mess up so that is exactly why he sent his Son Jesus Christ. What a blessing it is to learn about him through scripture study and try to live according to his doings. In Mosiah 2:17 it reads "And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.". This is one thing I know we can all do to reflect on our Savior Jesus Christ and ultimately make our Heavenly Father happy. Go and serve!!!! There are so many different ways to do so! Whether it's sending a text to someone you feel may be having a rough time or having someone over for dinner. There are so many easy ways to serve and as that scripture says: as you do so your are serving God. How amazing is that. I know as you do so you will be blessed and will feel the joy that can be felt through the light of Christ and the spirit.

Well this week we had a sick service oppurtnity and got to paint a garage. I'll put pictures in here. We just painted it all white, but good vibes and good times ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Still blows my mind I'm an uncle and that my sister had a baby, another shout out to my little one Audrey she seems like she going to be a thug haha ๐Ÿค˜. O wait my mom probably doesn't want me using my street lingo like thug so um she seems very hipster and cute-Audrey that is..well mom too! That's a nice way to describe her i think... haven't met her yet so I'm just going by some pictures I've seen haha. It was 21 degrees today so it's finally getting warm which I'm extremely excited about and love wearing my short sleeve shirts. Other then that not much more to say. I got to confirm Mel (our new convert) who got baptized a couple weeks ago today in church because Church was cancelled last week (freezing rain closes everything down). So that was a really great experience. Other than that, we get yelled at a lot here so that's fun and always exciting๐Ÿ˜‚. I think that's it for this week, love you all and keep being awesome!!!!! ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿค™
