This transfer has flown by. Its already week six of being here in North York. I couldn't be happier to be anywhere then here right now. This week was a lot of learning how we can better the mission and help the missionaries in our zones. We had the opportunity on Saturday to have a general authority come talk to all the zone leaders about how we can better our mission. His name was Elder Hamilton, he portrayed a powerful simple message about Faith and expecting those you talk to to be interested in the message of the Restoration of Christ's church. The spirit there was so strong and was honestly so nice to have had the opportunity to hear his thoughts and feelings. One thing that stood out to me is a scripture he read in response to a question one of the missionaries had, which was I feel so unworthy to be God's servant how can we know we are doing enough to expect miracles. He read Alma 42:24 "24 For behold, justice exerciseth all his demands, and also mercy claimeth all which is her own; and thus, none but the truly penitent are saved

.". Then he said none of us are worthy. I am not worthy. But as we are truly penitent (penitent is a humble and repenting person) we will be able to expect those miracles. That night I went home and really dug into the scriptures to see other verses that use the word penitent. I don't know why but the word "penitent" just really stood out to me. I came across another verse that says "17 Now the joy of Ammon was so great even that he was full; yea, he was swallowed up in the joy of his God, even to the exhausting of his strength; and he fell again to the earth. 18 Now was not this exceeding joy? Behold, this is joy which none receiveth save it be the truly penitent and humble seeker of happiness."(Alma 27:17-18). I feel this word is a great description of how we feel joy. I want to gain the attributes of a penitent man. I know this is key to becoming better. I for sure have seen how this already has blessed my life so much. Anyway just something that I loved and wanted to share with you all. We have a guy on date for baptism February 4 so that super exciting. Coming up quick, hope I don't get transferred! He is a super cool guy. He's around 25 and it's been amazing to see his testimony grow since we have been teaching him! We also are teaching two brand new people tonight which is exciting! O something that as super sick was I got to drive a truck this week. Their were some Sister missionaries that needed a couple new things for the apartment so from Brampton to North York in Toronto area I got to drive this big mission truck. It was so fun. I realized how much I love trucks haha. They are dreamy to drive 🤣👌. Also weather wise it's has only snowed like twice here in the city. So it hasn't been too cold which is so nice. O also got to see my trainer. He came back to Toronto and we met up and had a great talk. He got home five months ago and he just got engaged to a girl in Hamilton hahaha. So that was super cool to see him and catch up quick. Everything is going great here. The Lord continues to work miracles for us and I am grateful to be a servant of His. Even though I sure am not worthy because of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father I know we will see miracles as we are striving to be diligent, obedient and truly penitent. Love the work of the Lord and know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. Love you all, hope you have a wonderful week. ðŸ‘ŒðŸ’ŽðŸ‘‘🤙
