March 11, 2019 We walked for 8 hours that day to find those 3 people within 15 minutes.. Been pretty hype up here not going to lie.

Another good week here in the good old Sudbury. Honestly this week was crazy! We had a meeting my companion and I had to go to in Toronto which is 4 hours away on Thursday so half of our day Wednesday was driving and Friday. The Thursday was an all day conference that we have with a couple of the missionaries in leadership. Super good and inspiring and really motivated me to work hard for the rest of the week. I went on exchanges with another missionary Friday and Saturday and saw crazy miracles. Found 4 new people to teach and had some great lessons with them Yesterday! God truly was looking out for us as we had a blank day of finding. For sure paid off though. I'm really finding as I serve that I learn so much more about myself and really gain a strong will power. There was an awesome quote from a video we watched called lift at the conference on Thursday. It went like this "It's easier to find yourself because their is so much more to find." (In the context of serving). I for sure have seen as I forget about myself and worry about the needs of those I serve I have changed and grown so much! Not to say I'm even close to some saint but I for sure know I am better then I was yesterday. For sure one thing that keeps me going is this concept of knowing that tomorrow I can be better. Not because I am some super human but because of Christ I can learn from my mistakes and change for the better, which is repentance at its finest Haha. This talk I came across this week brings what our Saviour did for us alive. "The Savior, however, calls us, without price, to exchange our sins, to take upon us His countenance, and to take that into the hearts of those within our reach. For this we may receive all that God has, which we are told is greater than all the combined treasures of this earth."(What shall a man give in exchange for His Soul, October 2012 conference). We can repent, change and become better because of this. I know this idea is what people start to understand as we teach them. That our Father in Heaven wants us to return to Him but the only way we can do so is through Jesus Christ. Our Heavenly Father wants us home because of His love for each one of us! We are teaching a girl that is getting baptized this Saturday and I know this has been key to her conversion. Coming to know these simple but profound principles is essential to understanding why we are here and how we are able to return to our Father in Heaven. I want this for everyone. That is why I am here in the Canada Toronto Mission and I am blessed to be doing so. It's crazy how fast it's going by! Less then 8 months and I'm so excited to see what I can do to change for the better and who I will be able to help change for the better through Christ's Gospel in junction with the spirit. One super cool story about this week was when we found those 4 new people three were on the same street one after another. We walked for 8 hours that day to find those 3 people within 15 minutes. God test our faith before he blesses you. I have found this is how it is most of the time. If God just blessed you right away or didn't test your faith it wouldn't really be acting in faith would it. 1 Nephi 10:19 "For he that diligently seeketh shall find; and the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto them, by the power of the Holy Ghost, as well in these times as in times of old, and as well in times of old as in times to come; wherefore, the course of the Lord is one eternal round.". I love this scripture as it is a perfect description of how I feel I am learning. Well that's enough about that. Been pretty hype up here not going to lie. Lots of snow still though. Excited for summer!!! Well love you all and have a great week!
