April 22, 2019 Easter

So honestly we had another solid week. It's been consistently pretty nice here so that's sweet!!! Got to teach lots this week so that was super great, honestly everything is going so well. It was super nice being able to be out here on the mission for my second Easter. Really makes you think a lot more about the sacrifice that was made by Jesus Christ as you are out talking about Him daily. As well as bearing your witness of His ultimate, supreme and all atoning sacrifice that was made for each of us! His loved brother and sisters. How can you not be grateful for that? How can you not want that? I know I sure do. But this is because I have prayed, experienced and applied this in my own life. It would be understandable if you have never tried to ask for forgiveness or ultimately change from old ways that where wrong. But if you do I know you can and would feel the same way I feel about Jesus Christ. So why not see if you have the same feelings? Honestly this is exactly what we invite others to do daily. With the focus being Jesus Christ at this time of the year I was trying to study a little more about Him and what He did for us. One thing that really stood out to me is just His humility and willingness to fulfil our Heavenly Father's plan. "He knew we must be free to choose in order to prove ourselves worthy of exaltation. Jesus said, “Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever”."(Gospel Topic). Just as it says there. He understood and realized our Father had a plan and He was the centre of that. What a blessing it is to be able to have our Savior Jesus Christ be so willing to endure these extreme pains and sacrifice for us! A key part was His Humility and obedience to His Father. I truly want to strive to be better at a lining my will with Gods to this degree. Be willing to do all He asks and His servants. A great example of someone being humble is a man we are teaching. He willing be getting baptized May 4 and he is willing to do the things that our Father in Heaven have asked of His children. Him and I alike do not understand why we do all we do. Or why God asks us to sacrifice curtain things, but we do understand we will be blessed and will ultimately be able to use the Atonement more actively. So really just great for Jesus Christ and being able to be out here sharing the feelings I have personally felt and the effects it has made in my life by choosing to follow Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. Grateful for my parents for raising me in an environment that this was a focus. For sure am excited to do the same. Super just grateful for all I have been given and truly know that so much more will come as I turn to God. Hope everyone has a great week! Love ya
