April 29 Baptism and finding new investigators=SWEEET!

Hey everyone!!! So not going to lie this week was full or a lot of driving....and crazy miracles Haha. Honestly I don't know how or why but we are finding and teaching so many solid people. I'm so grateful for the wonderful people of Sudbury, to be honest generally the nicest people I have met on my mission as a whole. So I can start off by sharing one of the miracles from this week. Monday night we decided to go knocking doors. We had to quickly swing by a members Monday night to drop some stuff off so we decided to find a place close to them to knock. We found a complex of about 60 houses and for some reason decided to start at the very back...which honestly did make a lot of sense but we both thought it was a good idea. Well let me tell you that was the spirit leading us to a row of prepared people 🤣🙏. Within about 15 houses we had three return appointments/phone numbers!!! One of them being a single mother that had just moved from the Bahamas about a year ago. She has two kids, one boy that is 14 and a girl that is 11. They are beyond amazing and I already have a great love for them. We were able to meet twice this week and have all of them come out to church yesterday! As we have taught there has been such a great spirit in there home. We were sharing about the Plan of Salvation Friday night and we started to share how we know about the degrees of glory as well as the spirit world because of 1 Corinthians 15. She looked at her kids and said....remember last week when we were reading through that. Well here's our answer!!! I know this wasn't a coincidence. How our Heavenly Father continues to stun me each and everyday I'm out here serving. I sure do have a great opportunity to be the Lords servant and it means a lot to me. We are excited as the next two weeks we have a baptism. One on May 4 and one May 11! Praying they both end up pulling through as we still need to make sure some stuff happens before them. But I know with the strength and power of Christ and really on His will everything will work out. Well to switch things up I thought I might share one thing that stood out to me in my studies this week. As I was readying through the conference talks just given I came across one that I know hit a lot of people. It starts "We can rationalize all we want, but the fact is, there is not a right way to do the wrong thing!"(Careful versus Casual April 2019 general conference). For many of us this is one of our weakness...I know at times it can be for more and has been in the past. It made me reflect a lot and I know is something I want to think about more before acting and doing something contrary to what God would want me to do. Also another cool thing is there was a set of Sisters in our zone that needed help baptizing a lady so was able to help do so which was great. Been bumping out here I love it and love what I'm doing. I am being blesses so much and am extremely grateful. Weather wise we don't have any more snow so that is super sweet. Love u all and hope you have a great week!! 🎆
