July 1, 2019 Happy Canada Day!

Happy Canada day everyone!!! Well transfers happened and I'm staying another!! By the end of this transfer I will have spent 1/4 of my mission here haha. But super pumped as I do truly love these people. Also I'm super excited as Elder Matthew Nowlon from high school will be coming and living in the same place as me!!! So that will be so great living with him. We aren't companions but we will be doing lots together. Honestly was a super great week. We had pretty booked days teaching wise this week. Cool miracle that happened last week that we are seeing God's hand in was with a member that hadn't been out to church for 7 years! We had some missionaries from Timmins here last week doing some stuff on there car and they had some extra time so they started knocking. They knock on a door and this member that hadn't been to church answered and invited them in. They got a return appointment and we have now taught her 3 times this past week. She even came to church and enjoyed it! So all around super excited for her. Well been really trying to focus on desire. I really want to make sure I focus on loving the things I do. Like we all know when we love it and believe it i know it will mean so much more. So I was readying a talk entitled "Desire" by Dallin H. Oaks. One thing I really enjoyed in relation to desire is "Desires dictate our priorities, priorities shape our choices, and choices determine our actions. The desires we act on determine our changing, our achieving, and our becoming.". This really made me think about how important priorities, choices and actions really shape our desire. So for sure some things I want to really focus on in the coming months as I know this will be beneficial for those we work with and my desire to serve more fully. "When we have a vision of what we can become, our desire and our power to act increase enormously.". But anyway work is going so well!! Sorry it is so short. Running out of time to email. Surprise, we got transfer calls! I'll be leaving and heading to the heart of downtown Toronto. I will now be in the Toronto YSA ward and training a brand new missionary for my last transfer. Super hyped I am staying in the city and probably going to my dream area to end ahh....well this past transfer was pretty close to my dream area as well haha. It was another extremely bumping week. We were able to find 5 new, have 3 at church and three on date for baptism!! It is for sure bitter sweet but I know God has some crazy amazing things in store for Toronto YSA and us. This past week was sweet as my companion and I legit felt like celebrities  . We honestly had five or six people either come up to us or over hear us talking to someone else and want to hear more about the powerful message of the Restored Gospel. January 28, 2019 Life in Toronto this week!..

Update: haven't been in the hospital this week hahaha. No I'm honestly back to normal now. Legit this week was crazy busy honestly. It was go, go and go. Most days we didn't have time for a full hour dinner or half hour lunch. It is such a blessing though. Time flies and we are getting so much accomplished, it feels super good. We had some insanely solid lessons with our two people we have on date right now. One was over video call via Facebook messenger as she was in a rush that day. We were able to read through Moroni 7 (talking all about faith,hope and charity) with her. She was so excited and she was able to really see the goodness the Book of Mormon brings to her. She has said multiple times, the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints sounds fully right in my head. She is just waiting for that confirmation in her heart that we know will come as she is determined to know for herself. Oct 12-This was a miraculous week filled with some amazing experiences and extraordinary events.

This was a miraculous week filled with some amazing experiences and extraordinary events. To start off the week we put a girl on date for baptism that we found 2 weeks ago. She is originally from South Africa and has had some very spiritual experiences in her life. One of which she said she had a dream of a bright light coming down but she was unsure what it was. This was actually extremely key to her conversion as she was able to resonate with Joseph Smith experience very well when he was able to see a bright light and see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. Instantly she expressed her belief in Joseph Smith. Following we read a passage from the Book of Mormon and said that feeling was reconfirmed. As we met with her each day at the church after her work this past week we had countless experiences that were very special. We were meeting with her after church on Sunday and she was able to express that she knew this was true and knew this is where she needed to be. We ...
