July 8 . Elder Nolin here-Sweet!

Well this week was rockin! My new companion is honestly so great. Had a crazy week as we had to drive to Toronto and back and had a tone to do! It was insane as we didnt get back till about 11:30pm on Thursday night after driving home from Toronto because there was two highway closers ðŸ˜‚👌. So we had a fun time walking down the highway and just talking to people. Also super fun with Elder Nolin in our place! We been making some crazy high goals and really sacrificing for them. Honestly though, I'm starting to realize the things we do to sacrifice aren't even sacrifice. It's a great opportunity to just do all we can to show God we want to serve at our fullest capacity. My companion also is super onboard with just going hard which is a big plus! We have been really trying to see miracles each day. “A miracle is an extraordinary event caused by the power of God. Miracles are an important element in the work of Jesus Christ. They include healings, restoring the dead to life, and resurrection. Miracles are a part of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Faith is necessary in order for miracles to be manifested” (Guide to the Scriptures, 165). Been able to see the connection between being thankful and miracles. We set a goal that each night we would kneel and thank God for all that he had given us that day. By doing so we have seen extraordinary miracles. For example, we were talking to people yesterday and found a ladie sitting there. Long story short we taught about the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later day Saints. We ended up putting her on date for baptism for August 3!!! Well be seeing her tomorrow so I'm excited about that. Just all around been trying to grind and make these last couple months amazing. Been super blessed with all God has been doing for me. Trying to keep a mindset of Grind with Gratitude. If we work hard and give thanks I know everything will be how God wants.

Surprise, we got transfer calls! I'll be leaving and heading to the heart of downtown Toronto. I will now be in the Toronto YSA ward and training a brand new missionary for my last transfer. Super hyped I am staying in the city and probably going to my dream area to end ahh....well this past transfer was pretty close to my dream area as well haha. It was another extremely bumping week. We were able to find 5 new, have 3 at church and three on date for baptism!! It is for sure bitter sweet but I know God has some crazy amazing things in store for Toronto YSA and us. This past week was sweet as my companion and I legit felt like celebrities  . We honestly had five or six people either come up to us or over hear us talking to someone else and want to hear more about the powerful message of the Restored Gospel. January 28, 2019 Life in Toronto this week!..

Update: haven't been in the hospital this week hahaha. No I'm honestly back to normal now. Legit this week was crazy busy honestly. It was go, go and go. Most days we didn't have time for a full hour dinner or half hour lunch. It is such a blessing though. Time flies and we are getting so much accomplished, it feels super good. We had some insanely solid lessons with our two people we have on date right now. One was over video call via Facebook messenger as she was in a rush that day. We were able to read through Moroni 7 (talking all about faith,hope and charity) with her. She was so excited and she was able to really see the goodness the Book of Mormon brings to her. She has said multiple times, the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints sounds fully right in my head. She is just waiting for that confirmation in her heart that we know will come as she is determined to know for herself. Oct 12-This was a miraculous week filled with some amazing experiences and extraordinary events.

This was a miraculous week filled with some amazing experiences and extraordinary events. To start off the week we put a girl on date for baptism that we found 2 weeks ago. She is originally from South Africa and has had some very spiritual experiences in her life. One of which she said she had a dream of a bright light coming down but she was unsure what it was. This was actually extremely key to her conversion as she was able to resonate with Joseph Smith experience very well when he was able to see a bright light and see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. Instantly she expressed her belief in Joseph Smith. Following we read a passage from the Book of Mormon and said that feeling was reconfirmed. As we met with her each day at the church after her work this past week we had countless experiences that were very special. We were meeting with her after church on Sunday and she was able to express that she knew this was true and knew this is where she needed to be. We ...
