June 10, 2019 I never thought I would be in a place it got so cold...

I never thought I would be in a place it got so cold it felt like the Arctic, then got so hot I felt like I was in Mexico hahaha. But this week it was in the 30°C for three days straight and I love it 🙏. I love how warm and sunny it gets here, really makes the morning easy to go and get going. This week was for real just a chain of miracles. Which made it pass in a blink of an eye. For example, on Wednesday we were so busy we were worried we wouldn't have much time to find. But because we parked about a minute away from one of our appointments and tried talking to everyone we came across. We were lead to find 2 new people to teach!! We ended up having very little time this week of just time to go straight finding but some how with God's goodness ground 4 new people to teach and some more solid potential's. Super excited what the summer has to come with a mindset to help others more fully come unto Christ. Also had an opportunity to move someone and help do some other service activities this week in the warm weather. It was really great as it is an opportunity to show the love our Heavenly Father has for His children by using His other children (all of you and me!). I was readying a really great talk this week. I feel it is very applicable to me at this time as well is probably many of you. It was called "The Balancing Act of Endurance" By Elder Michael John U. the of the Seventy. This is very applicable to more then just college studies as well Haha.."A young athlete friend introduced me to the phenomenon called second wind, which is a feeling of renewed energy that gives you strength to carry on even when you’re tired. As for finding a second wind in other aspects of his life, my friend says: “As a college student, it can be really easy to come home from a late night and make an excuse to be too tired to say prayers or read scriptures or even make regular temple visits. There can be many excuses for not doing these things, especially for college students. But in the end, we need to find our second wind and do those little things.” Maybe instead of endure to the end, we can find our second wind—our spiritual wind—and enjoy to the end.". I feel this is something that is put to the test daily. Whether or not you are going to us that second wind and enjoy. Or not and fail. I know maybe I haven't been through as much enduring as a lot of people as I am young, but I have had to apply this in my life since as long as I remember. Whether it was in school, sports, or the Gospel. I know how important and key Endure with joy can be to our joy in life. I feel many people including myself have this false view of if I'm doing all that I need in a gospel sense and other fazes of life I shouldn't be having these trials....haha this is very wrong. God gives us trials to grow. Which means they will be constant through our whole life. He want's us to become like him. It's our choice to either except them well and endure joyfully or turn and blame God or others for these trials we face. I say the only way to face trials are with joy. If we don't this life will be miserable 🤣🐣...and you and I know that is no fun. Well that's enough of that. I love you all and hope you doing well. Keep being amazing and have a wonderful week!!
