June 24, 2019 Lots of pics..

Pretty fun week it was here in Sudbury! Started off going finding on Monday night and was blessed to find 3 new people to teach. Had some solid lessons later that week with them. It was actually pretty cool because one of those people we found we went back on Saturday night and got in. We ended up sharing a message to all six of the college students that lived in the house and got there contact info 🙏!!! So that was a super incredible miracle. Also had a great opportunity to go on exchanges with a missionary serving in Timmins right now and is from Raymond Alberta. It was a super solid time. We ended up teaching one of our investigator that has a date for baptism this week and the spirit was extremely powerful. We were sharing about the commandments and just the blessing surrounding them. I have gained a strong desire to live these as I know how much they benefit our lives for good. So it was great to just share my thoughts and feelings on the commandments and how they actually are extremely beneficial in all aspects of life. She had already had personal experience with the things that we had shared and so she had no problems with living them as she was already doing so (score haha). Which is amazing and really shows to me how God has prepared her to be ready at this time in her life to continue to follow the example of our Saviour Jesus Christ. Also got to do some service this week. Friday we help do some yard work and Saturday helped with a move. So ya good times out here. I'm got to give a talk yesterday as we went and visited the branch that we cover. It is called the Elliot Lake branch. Actually was a cool experience as the service was held in a Anglican church because they don't have a building of there own to meet in at the moment. Was able to give a talk there and focused on Faith in Jesus Christ and how scripture can build that faith so much! I was able to share a couple great examples of how its through the spirit that we are converted. Paul in 1 Corinthian was one that I shared and I love. I also came across a talk on the Book of Mormon as I was thinking about what I should share to the people in Elliot Lake. The talk was titled "Look to the Book, Look to the Lord". In this it shared a little about how blessed we are to have the Book of Mormon in specific. "Do you realize that the Book of Mormon was written for you—and for your day? This book is one of the blessings of living in what we call the dispensation of the fulness of times. Although the Book of Mormon was written by inspired, ancient authors—many of whom were prophets—they and the people of their day did not have the benefit of possessing the whole book. You now have easily within your reach the sacred record that prophets, priests, and kings treasured, embraced, and preserved! You have the benefit of holding in your hands the complete Book of Mormon.". I love this Book and am grateful for another testament of Jesus Christ. Honestly have really been able to see the impact it has had on my faith in Christ in an extraordinary way. I do know I am far from perfect but that is ok as long as I strive to change each day for the better. Same goes for all of you. We have been givin this record at this time for a reason and we need to utilize it. So do it ahha. Well that was some of my week and my thoughts about it. Hope you all had a wonderful week. As far as warm it has been pretty consistently in the mid 20's so that is sweet. Getting a nice tame lol 🤣🤘. Well love you all and hope you have a good week. Keep being awesome!!! 🙌
